Yet I don't want to dimension in Paper Space. Question - If I set my model space scale to 3/16" I cannot see any of the words in model space. I use ACAD exclusively for out of town work now, but I certainly have my struggles with figuring it out. When I first learned ACad it was on DOS but found I was so much faster and loved the art and thinking involved with using my hand to draw, and I can never get a cad drawing to have the beautiful personality of a hand drafted project. However due to changing work - such as distance projects I picked up Auto Cad about 4 or so years ago and took two semesters at a local college. I went to college long ago, and I am an adept hand drafter. I normally use 3/16" Let me just say this is the only file I am struggling with this issue. I'd suggest brushing up on it, especially if you work with different scales. Either you need to brush up on annotative scaling or drop it altogether. Once fixed, you will need to change your workflow to prevent this from happening. That should get you most of the way there if not fix it entirely. Once into the text, highlight the text string, right click, and select remove formatting. You may need a LISP to fix this globally but you can go into each dimension text and "remove formatting" by using ED. Rinse and repeat for text.ĭimensions have a text height override applied to the text. Select a piece of text, right click, and select similar. Go into model space and set the annotation scale to 1/4". These probably want to all be the same and should be set to 3/32" or whatever your standard is. The text has that annotation scale assigned to them but the paper space text height assigned to them has some "wonky" values. After a quick look, I can see that most of your layouts are 1/4"=1'-0".
